Our Redgrave is a premium semi-brogue, featuring Goodyear welted rubber soles for greater longevity and grip. Redgrave uses the ‘Claridge’ last shape for a generous fit and bold toe shape, and is available in an F fitting.
The Last
Claridge
Another versatile last shape, Claridge is used for both classic English styles and more contemporary shoes. Claridge is a medium width last which should run true to size. There is a little extra (cosmetic only) length in the toe of this last, which has a slightly rounded point.
The Style
Semi Brogue
Featuring a straight toe-cap with some light ‘punched’ decoration around the toe or wing-cap. A semi-brogue is an uncomplicated option for that classic, yet relaxed look, that works great with either a suit or chinos.
